    Nowadays it has become very important to teach children about fire safety in schools. Apart fromFire safety drills and awareness programs, some fun games and activities can also help in understanding fire safety. These activities not only make children smarter but also prepare them to make better decisions in real life situations. Such activities also help children develop important survival skills.

    Fire Safety Quiz

    By organizing an interactive quiz children can learn aboutrules and regulations. This quiz contains questions that cover basic concepts. Like “What is the first thing you should do if you find out about a fire? Or If you see smoke, which direction should you go?” Such questions help children remember important ftips. This quiz is engaging and fun for students and they learn naturally.

    Practice fire escape plan

    Implementing a fire prevention plan is an important activity. Children are shown a diagram of their school building and are told which direction to go if there is ever a fire. This is an exercise in which children can practically remember escape routes points. This activity has to be organized individually for each class. By following this we do not panic in case of fire and get out quickly.

    Close the drop and roll activity

    This is an old and well-known fire safety technique that can be easily taught to children. It teaches children what to do if their clothes catch fire. This technique is very important in firetraining. Stop Drop and Roll is easy to understand and can be made into a game to get kids involved.     Fire Safety Bingo

    Bingo is a maze-type game that allows children to learn terms and practices. Each box has  information written on it. Like fire extinguisher, exit and smoke alarm. When you save these items, you have to complete the bingo. This is how they look in the maze. This activity is very beneficial for me to learn about and help me save lives.

    Fire Safety Pictionary

    Pictionary can be another fun game where you have to draw things related to fire safety. Children are divided into groups and asked to make objects related to fire safety, such as a fire truck, fire alarm, or exit sign. The rest is left to guess what it represents. This activity helps children understand and gives them an opportunity to be creative.

    Fire Safety Obstacle Course

    In this activity children are given an obstacle course that they have to complete through challenges displayed on  objects. Such as using a fire extinguisher reaching a safe exit and handling an emergency kit. This activity helps children improve teamwork and fire skills. This activity helps children learn important measures from a practical perspective.

    To play the role of fire safety

    Role playing is a great way to help rescuers play their part in situations. He is given the roles of firefighter, officer, and emergency responder. This activity helps them to face real life situations and make correct decisions. Role playing teaches them how to react in emergency situations. This activity also improves the decision making skills of children.

    Telling the fire safety story

    Telling children stories about  is a good way to engage them about the topic. You tell them through a story how they should react in case of fire. Stories connect them on an emotional level and give them a better understanding of fire safety. This activity teaches them a lot about fire safety. Storytelling is a powerful tool.

     Fire safety songs

    It may also be a good idea to teach children songs.By understanding fire safety tips in short lines, you can create songs that will help you remember them easily. They can easily remember tips from simple songs like “Stop Drop and Roll” or “Call 911.” Such songs help us to enjoy in society.

    Making fire safety poster

    Children can be taught fire safety principles through posters. Each student can be asked to make a poster in which they can write and display fire safety tips in their own creative way.
